Minich MacGregor Wealth Management has grown year over year. Looking back just a few months into our inception, the sentiment was, “Darn it, wish we’d done this five years ago.”

  • 1986

    James starts his career with AG Edwards.

  • 1987

    James moves to Shearson Lehman Bros.

  • 1993

    Jason starts working with James as Smith Barney buys Shearson Lehman Bros.

  • 1996

    Jason moves to FIS Securities, the investment division of Fleet Bank.

  • 2000

    Jason moves back to Smith Barney and the partnership with James continues.

  • 2007

    After years of working for large investment firms and multiple mergers, James and Jason begin to explore the possibility of transitioning from brokers to managing their own independent registered advisory firm.

  • 2008

    Possibility becomes a reality, James and Jason begin the process of starting their independent registered advisory firm.

  • 2009

    Minich MacGregor Wealth Management (MMWM) is founded as an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm. The team consists of James, Jason, and a Client Service Coordinator.

  • 2014

    MMWM at 5 years has a growing team of 6 professionals.

  • 2019

    The firm celebrates 10 years of continued growth and development of a successful team of 7 professionals which includes 1 CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

  • 2024

    MMWM celebrates its 15th anniversary. The advisory team is made up of 3 Financial Advisors, 2 CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS™, 1 Client Service Executive, and a support team of 3.

  • 1986
